I like fine dining, good wine, dancing, cooking, walking in the Park, in the avenues of big cities like New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Paris, London ... I am a scientist, I work in health science administration with the US government, in basic neuroscience of mental health. I basically do administration and policy of the grants that go to the universities for research. I was professor of biomedical and electrical engineering for many years in a good, private university in Bogota, Colombia, South America. I was born in Colombia, of French origin. Now I am a US citizen. Around 1996, I came to the US to do a PhD in biophysics at Johns Hopkins University, to switch careers from engineering to biomedical. I finished the Ph.D. successfully in 2001 and got a job at Columbia University in NYC. I worked there in research for about 3 and a half years, moving to CT in the second year. Then, I got my present job in Maryland, so I moved to Maryland. At that time, I bought my small studio in Manhattan, and I often go there for a change, or vacation, even to work from there (we are allowed to telework). Before my PhD, I went to France to do my Master's degree, so that's why speak French too. Well, you can ask me more ... :) Cheers,
