Victoria Zdrok is unabashed in her goal of becoming the Dr. Ruth of 21st century.

But this statuesque Eastern European beauty is a far cry from the matronly Ruth; she looks more Barbie Doll than Academic Expert.

Yet Dr. Z is more than just a pretty face (and an amazing body). Her sound advice has landed her countless radio and talk show appearances, she's the featured advice columnist for Penthouse, and she's just released a new book on how to score chicks.

We at Adult FriendFinder Magazine are thrilled to add Dr. Z to our roster of celebrity advice columnists - so we took a few moments to ask her a few questions, and get to know this brainy beauty.

Tell us a little bit about your new book, Dr. Z on Scoring: How to Pick Up, Seduce, and Hook Up with Hot Women.

The book idea came about because there was this amazing popularity of pick up artists; there were thousands of blogs devoted to seduction, all being run by men who claim to be the pickup artist.

I started reading them and I was appalled. A lot of stuff was just outright wrong. One guy said the way to pick up woman was to be arrogant - and that couldn't be further than the truth! Basically it was all these guys who claimed they knew what women want. I got annoyed with it all, particularly Mystery [from the VH1 reality series The Pickup Artist] who claims that perfect women have self esteem that's too high, and the only way to pick them up is put them down.

I thought, you know what, this doesn't help men or women. My book is basically a response to that. I wanted to lay it all out, what women really like.

Why is it so hard for men to understand what women want?

Women are more complex, and their sexuality is more variable. It's a harder job to explain to a guy how to gauge how to satisfy a woman, thank vice versa.

Women make better students, because they're always trying to understand, but I think educating men is a tough job because men don't always want to talk about feelings. I have to present it in a way that it's still interesting to guys. It's very hard.

You have a PhD and a law degree. Why did you decide to go into sex advice?

I like the law on a theoretical level, but as for the actual practice of it? I'm more of a healer than a fighter.

The counseling part is what attracted me. I think love is central to human existence, and central to human satisfaction. Love is what keeps us truly alive. By improving that, you can improve a person's life.

How did you get into modeling?

I call myself the accidental centerfold. Growing up in communist society, there were no models. No advertising, no modeling. So, I never dreamed of being a model.

In my second year of grad school, my marriage wasn't working out and had no way of supporting myself, so I started modeling for local agency, and started getting catalogue jobs. It was really good money and I was shocked. Then I was out at a nightclub and a Playboy scout approached me. I was able to leave my marriage and have money to support myself.

Do you find that your appearance affects the way people perceive you?

A friend of mine posts my book reviews on her site, and all these guys say "There's no way she could have a PhD." I always have to post links to my scanned diplomas, because it's questioned so often. People are incredulous.

You have to work a lot harder to prove that you have substance. But the looks help to get people's attention, so it works both ways. (My looks) initially get me on TV because they want the ratings. But once they hear me speak, I think they realize there's more to me than good looks.

What are the most commonly asked questions you hear from men?

The number one is "how do I make my penis larger?" Which I'm sick of - I had to put a whole chapter in my book on why size doesn't matter. Men obsess over two things that aren't important to women, their hair and penis size.

Another one that's very common is "how do I last longer?" and that is important to women.

The third one I would say is "how to I get my girlfriend to..." And it's something like have anal, or swallow, or have a threesome - basically getting a woman to do something that she's reluctant to do. Most guys think "let me just stick it in tonight," but that's not the way to go about it.
