Standard Users Redeeming their points/A FF dying

They use to allow standard users to become top f ans and contact other users that way. NO LONGER. So there is another work around. i.e. go to your acct , select, *redeem* your points, spend 220 pts to write a message to a user. Well now even that is closed even though they will subtract the 220 pts from your acct. The window that you type your message in just hangs and you can click repeatedly on the SEND button with nothing happening. I contacted CS and they said they could not duplicate the error and did NOT return my lost points to me. They are simply killing their site. You don't attract butterflies with sh#t.

They are now requiring you to be a GOLD member to contact anyone. Blogs are the last frontier..... for now. That gate is also about to close. IMHO it will this site.

Thoughts?

 There were a couple of members who reported that glitch (spending points to mail another member but not being able to) to Support a few months back - I was one of them. Might be worth a try finding the Support blog and posting in their current "Glitches, Feedback and Suggestions" blog about your experiences - if you explain your problem they might even give you your points back as it should be a known issue.

Within the last couple of months someone sent me a message. Obviously as I am a standard member I wasn't able to read it. But I did successfully become their top fan (only cost me 55 points or something) and was allowed to read the message and send one in reply. So that part does seem to work provided you have enough points to reach Top Fan status and they are part of the Top Fan programme.
